Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonard Fidler got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Vítek Kubelka made a precise shot to the right of Koloman Dunka. FC HLAVNICE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Lubomír Dolenský put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Přemysl Jureček. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petr Toufar got free with Koloman Dunka in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When FC HLAVNICE's Leonard Fidler in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horomeritz's goalie prevented a goal. When Julius Pulda fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horomeritz's protests and gave Julius Pulda a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Horomeritz got a freekick which was hit by Julius Pulda. 19 minutes into the game, Horomeritz's Petr Toufar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Koloman Dunka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Koloman Dunka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Hvězda in the 25th minute. Ladislav Křepela kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Horomeritz's Koloman Dunka threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alois Brůžek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Lubomír Dolenský's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Přemysl Jureček was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alois Brůžek to make the kick off. When Jeroným Šik fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC HLAVNICE's protests and gave Jeroným Šik a yellow card for diving instead. Jeroným Šik hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Koloman Dunka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alois Brůžek in the 56th minute of play. FC HLAVNICE's Lubomír Dolenský got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Ondruš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Přemysl Jureček having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Horomeritz's goalkeeper Přemysl Jureček had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Ondruš. After a rather tough play, Horomeritz's Stanislav Šiman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, FC HLAVNICE's Lubomír Dolenský dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Ferdinand Ondruš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Přemysl Jureček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lubomír Dolenský in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, Horomeritz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislav Šiman to maneuver through the defense. Vítek Kubelka kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Koloman Dunka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Toufar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Horomeritz! The goalkeeper, Přemysl Jureček, was totally fooled by FC HLAVNICE's Ladislav Chyba, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. FC HLAVNICE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
