The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordão Rego got free with Patric Hasenstab in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patric Hasenstab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hadi Baler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Hadi Baler put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Patric Hasenstab. Patric Hasenstab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadi Baler's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Patric Hasenstab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordão Rego in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hadi Baler in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patric Hasenstab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Luboš Smýkal in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Loko Česká Lípa's Zdeněk Nikl. In the 30th minute, Marek Šlechta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hadi Baler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Patric Hasenstab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hadi Baler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 41 minutes into the match, Loko Česká Lípa's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Gelacio came free, but Patric Hasenstab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordão Rego's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Patric Hasenstab firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 45 minutes of play, Loko Česká Lípa's Vlastimil Kazík made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. For all the effort they put into the match, the Loko Česká Lípa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tottenham Hotspur FC.
