The referee ignored FC Ahojky's protests and gave Lubomír Bahník a yellow card for diving instead. Stanislav Hadraba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lubomír Bahník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislav Hadraba struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Horst Schenk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur FC. Horst Schenk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Hadraba in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute Petr Laštovička shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartoloměj Kročil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Ahojky's Petr Laštovička got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes, Milan Jung made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ahojky's Horst Schenk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Pospíšil was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tottenham Hotspur FC's Bartoloměj Kročil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Laštovička in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Viliam Sodomka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Lubomír Bahník got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tottenham Hotspur FC's Bartoloměj Kročil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Laštovička in the 40th minute of play. FC Ahojky's Josef Solar got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartoloměj Kročil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Solar in the 46th minute of the match. Petr Laštovička fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartoloměj Kročil having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanislav Hadraba made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Milan Jung's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horst Schenk was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Josef Solar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Milan Jung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tottenham Hotspur FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Hadraba in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Ahojky's goalkeeper Horst Schenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislav Hadraba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Horst Schenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartoloměj Kročil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lubomír Bahník, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Stanislav Hadraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Vladimír Macho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Jung in the 80th minute of play forced FC Ahojky's goalkeeper Horst Schenk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Lubomír Bahník cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bartoloměj Kročil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stanislav Hadraba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Lubomír Bahník dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bartoloměj Kročil, 2-3. Helmut Nikl didn't quite understand what happened when in the 97 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The FC Ahojky players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
