Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vojtěch Berný took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Píša scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Patera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Kaňka hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Pavel Patera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Odehnal in the 10th minute of play. When Slavoj Janák came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FK Teplice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slavoj Janák couldn't finish the play. Libor Bendík made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Vojtěch Berný sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Jiří Giňa made a precise shot to the right of Pavel Patera. FK Teplice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. David Píša recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, AS Roma 1978 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopold Haas to maneuver through the defense. Jiří Giňa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Patera having to interfere. David Píša received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pavel Patera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FK Teplice booed when AS Roma 1978 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Píša didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Vojtěch Oplt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Teplice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS Roma 1978 the free kick. Pavel Patera had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping David Píša's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 40 minutes of play, AS Roma 1978's David Píša made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavel Patera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vojtěch Oplt hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Píša was the one to do the kick off. Pavel Patera was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Jan Řepka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Řepka really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 62 minutes into the game, Jiří Giňa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Roma 1978's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Teplice the free kick. AS Roma 1978's Libor Bendík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojtěch Berný in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vojtěch Berný's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Libor Bendík was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. David Píša was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. AS Roma 1978's Jiří Giňa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Michal Navara, made in the 80th minute of the game. Pavel Patera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopold Haas in the 83rd minute of play. Jiří Giňa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Patera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. AS Roma 1978 played a much better game than FK Teplice and deserved their victory. The FK Teplice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
