Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alois Kopáček started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, FK Tachov's Alois Kopáček made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Libor Bendík was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as FK Tachov's Alois Kopáček slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Libor Bendík. That made the score 2-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Martin Odehnal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Tachov's Leonard Plachetka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Martin Odehnal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Roma 1978 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ludvík Koubek made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AS Roma 1978's Tomáš Jurčík. In the 20th minute, Martin Odehnal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Martin Odehnal managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Roma 1978's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Odehnal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Plachetka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Giňa in the 26th minute of play forced FK Tachov's goalkeeper Leonard Plachetka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AS Roma 1978's attack was well implemented in the 27th minute, but when Martin Odehnal was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, FK Tachov's Vítězslav Faktor got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Odehnal in the 29th minute of play forced FK Tachov's goalkeeper Leonard Plachetka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Martin Odehnal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Plachetka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FK Tachov's zone, Martin Odehnal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Plachetka came out of the goal and Martin Odehnal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Plachetka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Odehnal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Vítězslav Faktor hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Michal Vondrášek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jiří Giňa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leonard Plachetka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes FK Tachov got a freekick which was hit by Ludvík Koubek. Leonard Plachetka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Odehnal in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, FK Tachov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matouš Bláha to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Martin Odehnal managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Roma 1978's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Odehnal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Plachetka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, AS Roma 1978's David Píša sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Plachetka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Odehnal to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Josef Vokál had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Libor Bendík. AS Roma 1978's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Josef Vokál was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 54 minutes into the match, AS Roma 1978's goal looked a bit too open when Alois Kopáček came free, but Libor Bendík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jaroslav Vápeník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Plachetka came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Roma 1978's Martin Odehnal. But to his dismay, Martin Odehnal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After 63 played minutes FK Tachov got a freekick which was hit by Matouš Bláha. FK Tachov's Leonard Plachetka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save FK Tachov from getting a goal against them. Martin Odehnal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as David Píša kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonard Plachetka. That made the score 3-4 in the 67 minute of play. Martin Odehnal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Leonard Plachetka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 80th minute, Martin Odehnal made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Plachetka. FK Tachov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Odehnal got free with Leonard Plachetka in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Martin Odehnal came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the AS Roma 1978 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Odehnal couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FK Tachov booed when AS Roma 1978 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Giňa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Odehnal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Plachetka having to make a save. After 96 minutes, Matouš Bláha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Tachov and the AS Roma 1978 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matouš Bláha kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. FK Tachov's Leonard Plachetka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save FK Tachov from getting a goal against them. When the match was over AS Roma 1978 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK Tachov throughout the match.
