The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Burda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ctibor Boček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Livio Zampos having to interfere. A collision led to Uholicky getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Albert Stehno hit a great ball. Adolf Žilka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Viorel Bercea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zdeněk Veleta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Livio Zampos having to interfere. The supporters of FC Colo - Colo booed when Uholicky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Pleva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Zdeněk Sajdl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Livio Zampos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, FC Colo - Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Rytíř to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Kubala to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Adolf Žilka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Bercea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Adolf Žilka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Colo - Colo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Petr Švandrlík hit a great ball. Ronaldo Arantes, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. David Bajger hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Petr Švandrlík kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Adolf Žilka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Bercea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Zdeněk Veleta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Colo - Colo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdeněk Veleta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, FC Colo - Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Žilka came free, but Viorel Bercea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Burda might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Livio Zampos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Burda ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Martin Rytíř got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Martin Rytíř received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Livio Zampos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Livio Zampos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Rytíř in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Michal Mottl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Uholicky's goalkeeper Livio Zampos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zdeněk Veleta. When the final whistle sounded FC Colo - Colo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uholicky.
