If Jaroslav Štícha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Dan Snížek took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lubomír Jalůvka to make any attempt to save it. Petr Škaloud didn't quite understand what happened when in the 13 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Snížek in the 16th minute of play forced Osek's goalkeeper Lubomír Jalůvka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Nohel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Şerbănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rainerio Videgaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osek's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainerio Videgaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Nohel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Albert Şerbănescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Nohel was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Miloš Junek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Stefan Nohel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albert Şerbănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Snížek made a kick off. The supporters of Osek booed when Barca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milouš Vaňura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Nohel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainerio Videgaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Osek's Albert Şerbănescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Nohel. That made the score 2-3 after 64 minutes of play. Stefan Nohel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainerio Videgaray in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Heřman to maneuver through the defense. Albert Şerbănescu in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stefan Nohel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Barca getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Imrich Šimík hit a great ball. A hard shot 82 in the game by Albert Şerbănescu from a close distance when the talented Stefan Nohel managed to make a qualified save. Barca's players were relieved. Albert Şerbănescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Nohel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Osek's Albert Şerbănescu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Miloš Junek notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Barca's Stefan Nohel. Stefan Nohel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 95 minutes, Václav Kohut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Václav Kohut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
