The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. František Hejduk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Kupec having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, AC Tjeckien's goal looked a bit too open when Saša Nekvapil came free, but Zdeněk Hradský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when František Hejduk got free with Michal Kupec in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miroslav Geryk hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vítkovice Broken Wings's zone, Oldřich Baláž stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Kupec came out of the goal and Oldřich Baláž tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michal Kupec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oldřich Baláž in the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Oldřich Baláž shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Kupec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AC Tjeckien's Oldřich Baláž in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Kupec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Svatopluk Lehečka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oldřich Baláž had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Oldřich Baláž sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. František Hejduk scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michal Kupec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Oldřich Baláž managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Tjeckien's supporters rose to their feet, but Oldřich Baláž was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michal Kupec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If František Hejduk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Kupec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of František Hejduk's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Oldřich Baláž spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Vítkovice Broken Wings's goal. František Hejduk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Kupec having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Oldřich Baláž notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vítkovice Broken Wings's Michal Kupec. Michal Kupec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AC Tjeckien walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
