Barca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dezider Hofírek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd minute Dan Snížek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otokar Borovička saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Dezider Hofírek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barca's zone, Radan Hakl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Nohel came out of the goal and Radan Hakl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Heřman in the 41st minute of play forced Zenga tym's goalkeeper Otokar Borovička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dezider Hofírek came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Zenga tym fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dezider Hofírek couldn't finish the play. Radan Hakl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Zenga tym were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dan Snížek made the kick off in the second half. Otokar Borovička showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslav Štícha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stefan Nohel came out and tried to block the shot, but Dezider Hofírek slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 73rd minute. Dezider Hofírek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Nohel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Radan Hakl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Nohel. When the final whistle sounded Zenga tym left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barca.
