Nestor Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. František Roháček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milan Balogh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 61 played minutes tj eme melnik got a freekick which was hit by Roman Vik. İlyas Uz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Řetenice's goalkeeper Grygoriy Rurych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grygoriy Rurych came out of the goal and Pavel Moudrý tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute František Roháček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Balogh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Vrkoč in the 95th minute of play forced FC Řetenice's goalkeeper Grygoriy Rurych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Řetenice supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Řetenice would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
