Oldřich Baláž started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jaroslav Štícha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Zdeněk Hradský made a huge save. Barca's Jaroslav Štícha was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Stefan Nohel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from František Hejduk in the 8th minute of play. Dan Snížek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute František Hejduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Nohel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Nohel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oldřich Baláž, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Stefan Nohel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oldřich Baláž went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Barca's Stefan Nohel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oldřich Baláž in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barca! After a rather tough play, AC Tjeckien's Alfred Látal got a free kick in the 29th minute. Zdeněk Hradský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Snížek, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Dan Snížek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zdeněk Hradský. Dan Snížek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Stefan Nohel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Hejduk in the 37th minute of the match. František Hejduk struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Stefan Nohel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Tjeckien. Oldřich Baláž scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Nohel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, František Hejduk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Oldřich Baláž came free, but Stefan Nohel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Barca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC Tjeckien were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Snížek to make the kick off. AC Tjeckien's František Hejduk got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svatopluk Lehečka hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that František Hejduk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Nohel was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Dan Snížek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel Heřman to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes, Oldřich Baláž made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Barca's Stefan Nohel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dan Snížek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barca's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Snížek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdeněk Hradský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jaroslav Štícha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdeněk Hradský was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Svatopluk Lehečka got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
