The supporters of AC Masetschin booed when SK Lidečko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Vitner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Elliot Lind came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the AC Masetschin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Lind couldn't finish the play. Luboš Kazda struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Otta Kotrba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Lidečko. After 21 minutes, Josef Švadlenka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Lidečko and the AC Masetschin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, SK Lidečko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Švadlenka to maneuver through the defense. Aminu Taiwo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Czech, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aminu Taiwo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Czech, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, SK Lidečko's Božetěch Lindner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Otta Kotrba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Hortêncio Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luboš Kazda in the 42nd minute of play forced AC Masetschin's goalkeeper Otta Kotrba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliot Lind in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aminu Taiwo saved SK Lidečko from getting behind. After a rather tough play, AC Masetschin's Vlastislav Příhoda got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elliot Lind to make the kick off. SK Lidečko's Aminu Taiwo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Lind in the 66th minute of play. Otta Kotrba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luboš Kazda in the 67th minute of the match. Luboš Kazda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Otta Kotrba came out and tried to block the shot, but Luboš Kazda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 69th minute. AC Masetschin's Ladislav Strakoš was substituted for Elliot Lind. If Ladislav Strakoš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes SK Lidečko got a freekick which was hit by 麦德骋. Aminu Taiwo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislav Strakoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, SK Lidečko's Luboš Kazda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otta Kotrba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hortêncio Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otta Kotrba having to interfere. Hortêncio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Otta Kotrba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SK Lidečko supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Lidečko would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
