The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Chico got free with Vladimír Bažo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vágner Love could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Vladimír Bažo made a huge save. Leopold Krsek charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopold Krsek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pirana getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. FC Oltec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Chico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vladimír Bažo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Love, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Oltec reached it. Tadeo Chico struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Vladimír Bažo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Oltec. Tadeo Chico took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimír Bažo. Vladimír Bažo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the FC Oltec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
