Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jakub Kňourek's late challenge caught a TJ Lokomotiva DL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When 范建皓 fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TJ Lokomotiva DL's protests and gave 范建皓 a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AC Sparta Plzeň eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
