After 14 minutes of play, FC Kopeto's Cai Qing Yuan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ondřej Duba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pravý Těšín's Samuel Budský got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavel Sosna hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ondřej Duba was a little too slow when Cai Qing Yuan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kopeto's zone, Samuel Budský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Milan Krása came out of the goal and Samuel Budský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute David Holiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondřej Duba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cai Qing Yuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Cai Qing Yuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ondřej Duba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Pravý Těšín's goal looked a bit too open when David Holiš came free, but Ondřej Duba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Samuel Budský came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Pravý Těšín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Budský couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavin Sawbridge made a kick off. After some careless play in the Pravý Těšín defense, Cai Qing Yuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ondřej Duba. The Pravý Těšín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ondřej Duba should have stopped the shot. Ondřej Duba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavin Sawbridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ondřej Duba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Holiš in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Qing Yuan in the 59th minute of play forced Pravý Těšín's goalkeeper Ondřej Duba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
