It was Otomar Plíva who took care of the corner kick. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Otomar Plíva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Prokš in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Tomáš Bydžovský came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the FC Slovan Liberec fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomáš Bydžovský couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Bruno Horálek got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jarmil Bůžek got control of the ball when Tomáš Bydžovský tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Brůna in the 35th minute of play forced SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalkeeper Jarmil Bůžek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarmil Bůžek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but František Jíra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zdeněk Stoklasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Slovan Liberec's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdeněk Stoklasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarmil Bůžek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilém Soldát in the 45th minute of play forced FC Slovan Liberec's goalkeeper Nicolas Prokš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Prokš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otomar Plíva, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantin Opatrný to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Slovan Liberec's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Opatrný came free, but Nicolas Prokš reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SK Slavoj Vyšehrad booed when FC Slovan Liberec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdeněk Stoklasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Prokš made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Konstantin Opatrný sent off a good shot on target. If Ivan Brůna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarmil Bůžek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdeněk Stoklasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zdeněk Stoklasa in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarmil Bůžek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Brůna took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarmil Bůžek. Jarmil Bůžek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 96 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when František Jíra came free, but Jarmil Bůžek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Slovan Liberec's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
