Hugon Drab came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hojanovice's Julius Kuhn. But to his dismay, Julius Kuhn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Francesco Tripodi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Foster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Vladimír Herzog managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hojanovice's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimír Herzog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugon Drab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oséas Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Foster having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Enrique Baumer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Foster narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Martien Overmars kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domingo Foster. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Hugon Drab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimír Herzog in the 25th minute of play. Hojanovice's Domingo Foster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Tripodi in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Hojanovice's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Dante came free, but Domingo Foster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Foster was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Enrique Baumer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Baumer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Vladimír Herzog took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugon Drab. Hugon Drab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Hugon Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branislav Sekanina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oséas Dante made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC KRÁLOVO POLE's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Kuhn came free, but Hugon Drab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Sekanina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hugon Drab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hojanovice's Jakub Kotas was substituted for Václav Kollár. FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Hugon Drab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC KRÁLOVO POLE from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Francesco Tripodi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugon Drab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimír Herzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Domingo Foster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Baumer in the 74th minute of the match. Branislav Sekanina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
