In the 17th minute SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were awarded a corner. Otomar Plíva went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Otomar Plíva almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hojanovice's Domingo Foster did a great save. Evžen Pergl took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingo Foster. Domingo Foster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Otomar Plíva charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otomar Plíva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Otomar Plíva kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Hojanovice booed when SK Slavoj Vyšehrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Kalčík didn't get a good kick on the ball. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Jarmil Bůžek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SK Slavoj Vyšehrad from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Hojanovice were awarded a corner. Rostyslav Kuprienko went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 29th minute, Alfons Öberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Foster was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With an all-out effort, Hojanovice's Jarmil Bůžek threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Branislav Sekanina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otomar Plíva to make the kick off. Alfons Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Domingo Foster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Otomar Plíva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Hojanovice booed when SK Slavoj Vyšehrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Otomar Plíva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Foster was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Jarmil Bůžek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimír Herzog, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Domingo Foster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilém Soldát in the 86th minute. Domingo Foster was a little too slow when Vilém Soldát got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Julius Kuhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
