It was a well-played corner which David Selinger managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Guto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Anderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Guto Jacinto made a huge save. In the 20th minute AFC Cherries were awarded a corner. Benjamin Pabon went to the cornerflag to take it. Luciano Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Işıkalp Safa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guto Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Işıkalp Safa. AFC Cherries's Guto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Venerando in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Godfredo Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Venerando in the 36th minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 39th minute of play forced Koblížci's goalkeeper Aldo Kaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Işıkalp Safa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteve Venerando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Barroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aldo Kaas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Cherries's Luciano Cuenca got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kaj Låsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Kaas having to make a save. Aldo Kaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaj Låsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koblížci's Aldo Kaas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Cuenca in the 66th minute of play. Thomas Anderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Jacinto having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Işıkalp Safa in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Venerando in the 72nd minute of play forced AFC Cherries's goalkeeper Guto Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Barroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, AFC Cherries was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radek Rokos to maneuver through the defense. Radek Rokos hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Aldo Kaas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Jakubec in the 89th minute of the match. When František Jakubec came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the AFC Cherries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that František Jakubec couldn't finish the play. Guto Jacinto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteve Venerando's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Koblížci could leave the field as winners, despite AFC Cherries having more of the ball for most of the match.
