Lucien Waller took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrizio Dubs. Patrizio Dubs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sursee144's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Forrest De Souza in the 19th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Renald Bur heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With his leg Leonardo Bär managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Sursee144's Germain Kirchhofer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lucien Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrizio Dubs having to interfere. Florentin Bur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute, Germain Kirchhofer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Germain Kirchhofer got free with Leonardo Bär in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Mühlehorn HC defense, Germain Kirchhofer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Bär. The Mühlehorn HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Bär should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Florentin Bur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Leonardo Bär was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucien Waller was the one to do the kick off. If Germain Kirchhofer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mühlehorn HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sursee144 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mühlehorn HC's Bryan Frueh got a free kick in the 60th minute. Geoffrey Schaller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonardo Bär. Mühlehorn HC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Sursee144's Florentin Bur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Bär narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrizio Dubs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Waller in the 66th minute of the match. When Sursee144's Germain Kirchhofer in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sursee144 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
