An unexpectedly hard shot by Stef Isenegger in the 5th minute of play forced Oberläger SC's goalkeeper Nils Blumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Julien Brunner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes Riva got a freekick which was hit by Hanley Papa. Zdzislaw Marchlewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Zdzislaw Marchlewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Barkholz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julien Brunner kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Oberläger SC's Zdzislaw Marchlewicz in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riva's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Zdzislaw Marchlewicz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Geronimo Barkholz. Sander Giguère made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stef Isenegger. Aurelius Gwerder struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Geronimo Barkholz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberläger SC. Nils Blumer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hanley Papa in the 29th minute of the match. Nils Blumer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylvain Da Silva in the 32nd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Waldemar Bühler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberläger SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Bühler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Nils Blumer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zdzislaw Marchlewicz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Barkholz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oberläger SC's attentive Waldemar Bühler managed to snatch the ball when Jan Siegenthaler made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Riva's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Marchlewicz came free, but Geronimo Barkholz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zdzislaw Marchlewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Riva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominikus Reinhard to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Riva's Gaspare Gerster got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Riva defense, Gabriel Adler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Barkholz. The Riva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Barkholz should have stopped the shot. Geronimo Barkholz was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Zdzislaw Marchlewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zdzislaw Marchlewicz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Oberläger SC's Zdzislaw Marchlewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zdzislaw Marchlewicz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Geronimo Barkholz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oberläger SC. 88 minutes into the game, Aurelius Gwerder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Geronimo Barkholz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Stef Isenegger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Blumer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zdzislaw Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Oberläger SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Riva.
