Jarik Jaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kai Gerste hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Hans Enzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rico Furrer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Diepoldsau booed when Salenstein Panthers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leander Rohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Jarik Jaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salenstein Panthers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarik Jaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Salenstein Panthers booed when Diepoldsau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerwin Büchler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salenstein Panthers's Guillaume Leubler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diepoldsau. Ralph Stadelmann struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Magnus Frei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salenstein Panthers. Salenstein Panthers's Jarik Jaun got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Jarik Jaun made the kick off in the second half. Magnus Frei didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Jurij Donders hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maro Dionne in the 58th minute of play forced Salenstein Panthers's goalkeeper Rico Furrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Frei went to the wrong direction when Guillaume Leubler was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ralph Stadelmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kerwin Büchler's late challenge caught a Salenstein Panthers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kerwin Büchler helped the player get up and apologised. Kerwin Büchler kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match, Ralph Stadelmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Magnus Frei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jarik Jaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Frei having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Diepoldsau's goal looked a bit too open when Jarik Jaun came free, but Magnus Frei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralph Stadelmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Magnus Frei made a huge save. Jarik Jaun might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Magnus Frei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jarik Jaun ran back to his position shaking his head. Diepoldsau succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Salenstein Panthers had controlled the match.
