Gian Denis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Lepre in the 20th minute of play. Olof Greub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidelio Martinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Leonardo Lepre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian Denis having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Fidelio Martinelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olof Greub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Dagenais in the 46th minute of play forced Lokomotive Nussbaumen's goalkeeper Olof Greub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Lepre to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Wyss couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Ruggero Hunn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olof Greub, 1-2. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Leonardo Lepre sped through Trey's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gian Denis. Fidelio Martinelli scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olof Greub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Lokomotive Nussbaumen's Leonardo Lepre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gian Denis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 3-3 became the score in the 83rd minute when Leonardo Lepre elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
