Lionel Bauhofer came out of the goal and Urbain Schuler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristof Kaelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lionel Bauhofer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Luis Nacht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bülach FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Thun Berner Oberland the free kick. A collision led to Bülach FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Luis Nacht hit a great ball. If Urbain Schuler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lionel Bauhofer made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Urbain Schuler sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, FC Thun Berner Oberland's Stefan Cirella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lionel Bauhofer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Kristof Kaelin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lionel Bauhofer, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Bülach FC's Gerard Bänninger got a free kick in the 31st minute. FC Thun Berner Oberland's Urbain Schuler got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Thun Berner Oberland fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when FC Thun Berner Oberland's Urbain Schuler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lionel Bauhofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbain Schuler, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Nacht ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lionel Bauhofer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbain Schuler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Urbain Schuler notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bülach FC's Lionel Bauhofer. Lionel Bauhofer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Fernando Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bülach FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ferris Sciocchetti hit a great ball. When Urbain Schuler came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Thun Berner Oberland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbain Schuler couldn't finish the play. Gerold Jäggi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Stefan Berardi made a huge save. Urbain Schuler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Bauhofer having to interfere. Kristof Kaelin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Lionel Bauhofer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Thun Berner Oberland. After a rather tough play, Bülach FC's Gerold Jäggi got a free kick in the 95th minute. FC Thun Berner Oberland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
