Silvestro Moser received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Scipio Azara came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvestro Moser slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Riccardo Baehler made a precise shot to the right of Scipio Azara. Fc Luzern's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 19 minutes into the game, Fc Luzern's Jacob Gervasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joerg Hörler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 24th minute, Riccardo Baehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fc Luzern getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Raphael Stauber hit a great ball. Jacob Gervasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Scipio Azara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestro Moser, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Riccardo Baehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestro Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Scipio Azara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestro Moser to make the kick off. Fc Luzern's Scipio Azara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riccardo Baehler in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fc Luzern's Raphael Stauber got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Silvestro Moser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Scipio Azara was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Gilbert Ziegler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Scipio Azara. Fc Luzern's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Riccardo Baehler came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Busserein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riccardo Baehler couldn't finish the play. Silvestro Moser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Scipio Azara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Busserein's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
