In the 5th match minute, Gründler Street Elite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintin Zinsli to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Mattmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from David Couto went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Theo Hunn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jimmy Mattmann made a huge save. Sven Lugg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gillian Osterhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quintin Zinsli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gillian Osterhagen having to interfere. John Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oberbüren's David Couto got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Lionel Moret fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oberbüren's protests and gave Lionel Moret a yellow card for diving instead. Lionel Moret hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sven Lugg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gillian Osterhagen having to make a save. Gillian Osterhagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Lugg in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Oberbüren getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Georg Reufer hit a great ball. Sven Lugg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gillian Osterhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Théberge charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl Théberge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Karl Théberge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quintin Zinsli was the one to do the kick off. If Sven Lugg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Georg Reufer kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Quintin Zinsli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gillian Osterhagen. That made the score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. If Quintin Zinsli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gründler Street Elite's Sven Lugg got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Sven Lugg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin Zinsli in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gillian Osterhagen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd match minute, Gründler Street Elite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintin Zinsli to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Mattmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jimmy Mattmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aram Emhardt in the 85th minute of play. When Oberbüren's Aram Emhardt in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gründler Street Elite's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmy Mattmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theo Hunn hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Oberbüren's Gillian Osterhagen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Oberbüren from getting a goal against them. Gründler Street Elite's Jimmy Mattmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aram Emhardt in the 90th minute of play. Sven Lugg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Oberbüren fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gründler Street Elite were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
