In the 12th match minute, Fjellskogen Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by MarcoMarcus Hug to maneuver through the defense. Boris Pollastrini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Bruno Abt made a huge save. Bruno Abt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Othello Marfurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Fjellskogen Fc's Keno Zeller ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Abt. Bruno Abt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Othello Marfurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bruno Abt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Othello Marfurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Pollastrini got free with Bruno Abt in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fjellskogen Fc were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Devant's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tade Santucci took the corner. The corner led to Fjellskogen Fc's Aljoscha Dolder getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 42nd minute, when Fjellskogen Fc's Tade Santucci after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Bruno Abt in Devant's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Othello Marfurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Abt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Othello Marfurt in the 45th minute of the match. Fjellskogen Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tade Santucci in the 46th minute. Tade Santucci made a great header on Fjellskogen Fc's corner, it was just that Devant's Bruno Abt managed to reach the ball for a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Stadelmann was the one to do the kick off. Fjellskogen Fc's MarcoMarcus Hug managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerhard Perktold in the 77 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Othello Marfurt in the 81st minute of play forced Devant's goalkeeper Bruno Abt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
