Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnault Lemmenmeier started the match with the kick off. Donald Buob's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joe Angelici firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 8thth minute of the game Arnault Lemmenmeier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rüeschegg SC's Joe Angelici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rüeschegg SC's zone, Donald Buob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Angelici came out of the goal and Donald Buob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Donald Buob cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joe Angelici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Thomas Simmen came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rüeschegg SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Simmen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Rüeschegg SC's Brian Weber got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Donald Buob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnault Lemmenmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Simmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Faoccia having to interfere. When Thomas Simmen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Rüeschegg SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Simmen couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldo Villiger during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 44 minutes into the match, Wiedikon SC's Tassilo Goffredo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Wiedikon SC's Arnault Lemmenmeier in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rüeschegg SC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Rüeschegg SC's Thomas Simmen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeo Faoccia. That made the score 1-1 after 51 minutes of play. Joe Angelici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Buob, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Romeo Faoccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Keller in the 58th minute of the match. Donald Buob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Angelici having to interfere. Joe Angelici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnault Lemmenmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thomas Simmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Romeo Faoccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leo Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Keller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-2 became the score in the 72nd minute when Leo Keller elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Donald Buob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rüeschegg SC's Joe Angelici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Buob in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnault Lemmenmeier in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joe Angelici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnault Lemmenmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joe Angelici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donald Buob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wiedikon SC's Arnault Lemmenmeier in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rüeschegg SC's goalie prevented a goal. If Arnault Lemmenmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
