AC MAILAND's Fernand Seifert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Barbonetti in the 6th minute of play. Tobias Durrer hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Geoff Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clas Walt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geoff Lehmann in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernand Seifert saved AC MAILAND from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Geoff Lehmann made a precise shot to the right of Fernand Seifert. AC MAILAND's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 17th match minute, FC Basel lenditos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Lehmann to maneuver through the defense. If Lewis Mansueti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernand Seifert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Barbonetti went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Germano Barbonetti came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Basel lenditos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Barbonetti couldn't finish the play. FC Basel lenditos's Geoff Lehmann got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernand Seifert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Barbonetti in the 35th minute of play. Fernand Seifert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Barbonetti went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Manfred Wallimann kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lewis Mansueti got in the 48th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tobias Garzoli handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Barbonetti to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernand Seifert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Barbonetti in the 52nd minute of play. Tobias Garzoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Mansueti in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AC MAILAND's goalkeeper Fernand Seifert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Jarik Scroccarello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yannic Rotzer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fernand Seifert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoff Lehmann in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Germano Barbonetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Basel lenditos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Barbonetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, AC MAILAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannic Rotzer to maneuver through the defense. Jarik Scroccarello's shot from long distance in the 80th minute was not bad at all, but AC MAILAND's Fernand Seifert knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Fernand Seifert came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Basel lenditos's Geoff Lehmann. But to his dismay, Geoff Lehmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. If Geoff Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Garzoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Mansueti in the 96th minute of play. The AC MAILAND fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Basel lenditos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
