Lachen HC's Salvatore Lessard got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Salvatore Lessard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lachen HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvatore Lessard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Koenig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ultimate FC's zone, Salvatore Lessard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Koenig came out of the goal and Salvatore Lessard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Bünder hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Raffaello LeBatelier hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Jonathan Rüdemann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultimate FC and the Lachen HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ultimate FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jonathan Rüdemann hit a great ball. The supporters of Ultimate FC booed when Lachen HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reik Mächler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Bünder kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Salvatore Lessard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Miguel Koenig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fergus Lenz was the one to do the kick off. Fergus Lenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Frei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Koenig having to interfere. Felix Bünder hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Vincent Frei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ultimate FC's Charles Hammer in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lachen HC's goalie prevented a goal. Philo Banz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Hammer in the 72nd minute of play. Philo Banz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ultimate FC's Charles Hammer. But to his dismay, Charles Hammer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 76 minutes, Felix Bünder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ultimate FC and the Lachen HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Bünder hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Salvatore Lessard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Vincent Frei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pawel Horber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Philo Banz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Hammer struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Philo Banz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ultimate FC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
