Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arosio's Guy Riner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Solduno's Harley Stähelin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Farid Andermatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guy Riner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bernard Cicchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Cooper Frey rounded Arosio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Farid Andermatt fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arosio's protests and gave Farid Andermatt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arosio getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Farid Andermatt hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cooper Frey in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piero Lemmenmeier hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Solduno's Cooper Frey got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harley Stähelin in the 31st minute of play. Francisco Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cooper Frey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Harley Stähelin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Mendes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Francisco Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harley Stähelin in the 39th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Cooper Frey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solduno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cooper Frey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Piero Lemmenmeier hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cooper Frey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cooper Frey made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Qela during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arosio getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Valentin Qela hit a great ball. Cooper Frey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harley Stähelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Valentin Qela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Arosio's Piero Lemmenmeier got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Harley Stähelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harley Stähelin in the 75th minute of play forced Arosio's goalkeeper Francisco Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cooper Frey might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Mendes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cooper Frey ran back to his position shaking his head. Harley Stähelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Mendes having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Solduno's Cooper Frey made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Cooper Frey came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Solduno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cooper Frey couldn't finish the play. Cooper Frey hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The supporters of Solduno booed when Arosio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Reimann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cooper Frey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Solduno fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arosio had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
