In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solduno's goalkeeper Bernard Cicchetti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salvatore Lessard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti got control of the ball when Salvatore Lessard tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Harley Stähelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harley Stähelin succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvatore Lessard in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Cicchetti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Philo Banz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Cooper Frey sent off a good shot on target. Solduno's Bernard Cicchetti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvatore Lessard in the 69th minute of play. Solduno's Giuseppe Frey got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cooper Frey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philo Banz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cooper Frey's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Salvatore Lessard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Cicchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvatore Lessard in the 95th minute of play forced Solduno's goalkeeper Bernard Cicchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solduno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
