Spectators: 6799 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pier Robert took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rudolph Merki came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ultimate FC's Fergus Lenz. But to his dismay, Fergus Lenz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Fergus Lenz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Marin Wasser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolph Merki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Hammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Egerkingen's Marin Wasser got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 40 minutes, Fergus Lenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultimate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fergus Lenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marin Wasser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marin Wasser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Miguel Koenig made a huge save. Pier Robert struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Miguel Koenig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egerkingen.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fergus Lenz made a kick off. Charles Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rudolph Merki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawel Horber kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Pier Robert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egerkingen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Charles Hammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Merki having to interfere. Fergus Lenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rudolph Merki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ultimate FC booed when Egerkingen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Eggenschwiler didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amadeo Eggenschwiler came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Egerkingen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Eggenschwiler couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marin Wasser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egerkingen's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Wasser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Koenig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fergus Lenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rudolph Merki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Egerkingen's Stig Bürgin got a free kick in the 88th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ultimate FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
