Spectators: 7594 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reto Luthiger started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobia Perktold in the 3rd minute of play. Marc Koller's late challenge caught a Aigle Rouge Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Koller helped the player get up and apologised. Marc Koller kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Maxence Mehrtens came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Jokers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxence Mehrtens couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute of the match, Tobia Perktold tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Meyer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Aigle Rouge Club's Henry Caisse in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jokers United's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Martyn Koch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hampton Holmann. Jokers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martyn Koch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reto Luthiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hampton Holmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reto Luthiger in the 26th minute of play forced Jokers United's goalkeeper Hampton Holmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobia Perktold might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Meyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobia Perktold ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Reto Luthiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampton Holmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reto Luthiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hampton Holmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Caisse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41stth minute of the game Reto Luthiger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jokers United's Hampton Holmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hampton Holmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Caisse in the 48th minute of play.

Henry Caisse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampton Holmann having to interfere. If Reto Luthiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Reto Luthiger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hampton Holmann. Jokers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reto Luthiger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobia Perktold in the 61st minute of play forced Aigle Rouge Club's goalkeeper Jonathan Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxence Mehrtens, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxence Mehrtens in the 65th minute of play. Nicolas Aberle hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hampton Holmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hampton Holmann made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Henry Caisse sent off a good shot on target. Hampton Holmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reto Luthiger in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Aigle Rouge Club getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Davide Miani hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Tobia Perktold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jonathan Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 played minutes Jokers United got a freekick which was hit by Marc Koller. Hampton Holmann made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Henry Caisse sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Caisse got free with Hampton Holmann in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Maxence Mehrtens came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Jokers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxence Mehrtens couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Reto Luthiger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampton Holmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aigle Rouge Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aigle Rouge Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
