Liebistorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoDarwin Lugano the free kick. After 12 played minutes Liebistorf got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Dolder. GoDarwin Lugano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stefan Hunn in the 17th minute. When Palmiro Lenz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Liebistorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palmiro Lenz couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute Palmiro Lenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janning Stegmeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janning Stegmeier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baptiste Berg in the 27th minute. Gabor Racine's late challenge caught a Liebistorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabor Racine helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes GoDarwin Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Gabor Racine. Feliciano Ritter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatus Jenni in the 31st minute of play. Janning Stegmeier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baptiste Berg in the 34th minute. Janning Stegmeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Lenz in the 39th minute of play. Palmiro Lenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palmiro Lenz was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in GoDarwin Lugano's zone, Baptiste Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janning Stegmeier came out of the goal and Baptiste Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Palmiro Lenz in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Janning Stegmeier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute, Donatus Jenni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Ritter made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Rocky Kaufmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Donatus Jenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Ritter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baptiste Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Janning Stegmeier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 71 minutes, Donatus Jenni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoDarwin Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatus Jenni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Baptiste Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janning Stegmeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Baptiste Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Gabor Racine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Baptiste Berg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Janning Stegmeier. GoDarwin Lugano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baptiste Berg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liebistorf fully deserved thier win.
