The referee ignored Aurigeno's protests and gave Raymond Spiller a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Aurigeno got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Spiller. After a rather tough play, Aurigeno's Mathis Pauli got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Henri Sforza came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sushi Style fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri Sforza couldn't finish the play. If Federico Elmiger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Rudolf Spillmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurigeno and the Sushi Style players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sushi Style booed when Aurigeno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Spillmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Aurigeno getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Dick Camenzind hit a great ball. Jeremias Delfs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henri Sforza went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Elmiger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Bossert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peder Gonzales in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peder Gonzales during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Aurigeno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Gonzales to maneuver through the defense. The Aurigeno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Delfs should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Sushi Style's goalkeeper Benjamin Bossert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Gonzales. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurigeno's goalkeeper Jeremias Delfs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute Henri Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Delfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Luginbühl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Delfs having to interfere. In the 97th minute Henri Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Delfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sushi Style's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
