Oeschberg HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unterengstringen AC the free kick. After 2 played minutes Oeschberg HC got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Furst. Owen Handschin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nico Kümin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu Lauber having to interfere. Mathieu Lauber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Kümin, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fred Freitag hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nico Kümin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Oeschberg HC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Unterengstringen AC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Till Hübscher hit a great ball. If Ken Trasatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Unterengstringen AC booed when Oeschberg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gisbert Walpert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathieu Lauber was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Gisbert Walpert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gisbert Walpert really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Toby Wermuth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. David Lepre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Matthias Schultheiss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unterengstringen AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Schultheiss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Lepre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toby Wermuth was the one to do the kick off. Ken Trasatti struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mathieu Lauber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeschberg HC. 63 minutes into the game, Oeschberg HC's Ken Trasatti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathieu Lauber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Ken Trasatti came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Oeschberg HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ken Trasatti couldn't finish the play. Florent Franceschini hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ken Trasatti might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathieu Lauber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ken Trasatti ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Oeschberg HC's Gisbert Walpert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathieu Lauber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Ken Trasatti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu Lauber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Trasatti in the 87th minute of the match. Ken Trasatti struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Oeschberg HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Trasatti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Nico Kümin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Unterengstringen AC's Mathieu Lauber. Mathieu Lauber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oeschberg HC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
