Mischa Lüdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mathieu Lauber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12th play minutes Toby Wermuth shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Joseph Conte and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 22nd minute, Vitus Hermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 25 minutes, Toby Wermuth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unterengstringen AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toby Wermuth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Caron took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathieu Lauber. Mathieu Lauber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rachid Caron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathieu Lauber having to make a save. Mischa Lüdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Horw's Mischa Lüdi in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unterengstringen AC's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes FC Horw got a freekick which was hit by Rachid Caron. Matthias Schultheiss struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Joseph Conte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unterengstringen AC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 54 minutes Unterengstringen AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Lucchesi who took care of the corner kick. Arndt Zeffiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mathieu Lauber was a little too slow when Rachid Caron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. 61 minutes into the game, FC Horw's Mischa Lüdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathieu Lauber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Mischa Lüdi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathieu Lauber. Unterengstringen AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mischa Lüdi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Mischa Lüdi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Mathieu Lauber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pirmin Graber during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, one of FC Horw:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Unterengstringen AC. Roberto Boller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joseph Conte. 2-4. Mischa Lüdi struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mathieu Lauber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Horw. After having played for 90 minutes, Rachid Caron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mathieu Lauber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rachid Caron, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mischa Lüdi got free with Mathieu Lauber in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathieu Lauber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrique Jenny in the 96th minute. Roberto Boller was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match was over FC Horw could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unterengstringen AC throughout the match.
