Giraldo Hitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Lizzana Warriors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christopher Anderjoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lienhard Perna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LACIVERT FK's zone, Giraldo Hitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lienhard Perna came out of the goal and Giraldo Hitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lizzana Warriors defense, Michael Banholzer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Schwegler. The Lizzana Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Schwegler should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute Michael Banholzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Schwegler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giraldo Hitz took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lienhard Perna. Lienhard Perna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Giraldo Hitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tito Giacomini fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LACIVERT FK's protests and gave Tito Giacomini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute of the match Paul Wiss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lienhard Perna skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giraldo Hitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joseph Cicchetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lizzana Warriors's Paul Wiss got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Cordell Buschor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Florian Schwegler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lizzana Warriors booed when LACIVERT FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonio Imhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lienhard Perna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolaj Stahl in the 64th minute of play. Paul Wiss might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lienhard Perna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Wiss ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Banholzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Florian Schwegler made a huge save. The supporters of LACIVERT FK booed when Lizzana Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Wiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Paul Wiss made a precise shot to the right of Lienhard Perna. LACIVERT FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience was convinced that Giraldo Hitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lienhard Perna was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Paul Wiss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lienhard Perna having to interfere. When Christopher Anderjoli came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lizzana Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Anderjoli couldn't finish the play. Federigo Andermatt kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lizzana Warriors were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
