Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ludwig Oberholzer kicked off to start the match. Alajos Bergmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arminio Morf in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th match minute, BSC Young Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceddric Muntwyler to maneuver through the defense. 2.sc Tristan's Arminio Morf got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bert Schneider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alajos Bergmann having to make a save. After 12 minutes of play, 2.sc Tristan's Arminio Morf made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alajos Bergmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, 2.sc Tristan's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Aregger came free, but Julio Leuthard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arminio Morf took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alajos Bergmann. Alajos Bergmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Bert Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Schneider scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alajos Bergmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Seiler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half 2.sc Tristan were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alajos Bergmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianni Lehrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54thth minute of the game Arminio Morf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BSC Young Boys's Alajos Bergmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bert Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alajos Bergmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arminio Morf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 59 minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, 2.sc Tristan's Michael Seiler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alajos Bergmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Mathis Striner's late challenge caught a BSC Young Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathis Striner helped the player get up and apologised. Mathis Striner kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Bert Schneider who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Alajos Bergmann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Bert Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. 2.sc Tristan's supporters rose to their feet, but Bert Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alajos Bergmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bert Schneider got free with Alajos Bergmann in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute of the match, Arminio Morf tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alajos Bergmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 89th match minute, BSC Young Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Steinger to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Uli Hunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Mitter in the 97th minute of play forced 2.sc Tristan's goalkeeper Julio Leuthard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over 2.sc Tristan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BSC Young Boys throughout the match.
