Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roy Thaler started the match with the kick off. Noah Graf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Giona Schwarz made a huge save. In the 6th match minute, Kappelen SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Messmer to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, FC Wattenwil's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Filli came free, but Joe Füglister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Wattenwil booed when Kappelen SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Ehrenbolger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, FC Wattenwil's Roy Thaler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giona Schwarz. Giona Schwarz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Roy Thaler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giona Schwarz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noah Graf got free with Giona Schwarz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeus Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Giona Schwarz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Thaler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Peter Filli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kappelen SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Filli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Füglister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kappelen SC's Thomas Messmer got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Kappelen SC's Giona Schwarz got control of the ball when Fidelis Donsante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Aberle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joe Füglister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Kappelen SC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Thaler came free, but Giona Schwarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Filli was the one to do the kick off. The Kappelen SC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Kappelen SC's Diego Aberle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 minutes, Michel Stähelin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wattenwil and the Kappelen SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wattenwil's zone, Diego Aberle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joe Füglister came out of the goal and Diego Aberle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Noah Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Roy Thaler sped through Kappelen SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giona Schwarz. In the 76th minute, Amadeus Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amandus Huber was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Noah Graf sped through Kappelen SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giona Schwarz. 82 minutes into the match, FC Wattenwil's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Filli came free, but Joe Füglister reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Thaler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Wattenwil's Joe Füglister got control of the ball when Diego Aberle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peter Filli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Füglister having to interfere. Joe Füglister showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Filli in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wattenwil's goalkeeper Joe Füglister, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Wattenwil's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
