An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Kaufmann in the 4th minute of play forced FC.Posavina's goalkeeper Giovanni Zulle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Gianluca Lehner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC.Posavina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steckenpferd United the free kick. Steckenpferd United's Dirk Meyer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC.Posavina. 16 minutes into the game, Emery Lucciotti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC.Posavina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steckenpferd United the free kick. The supporters of Steckenpferd United booed when FC.Posavina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emery Lucciotti didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvester Dufresne during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, FC.Posavina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvester Dufresne to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Dirk Meyer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC.Posavina's Giovanni Zulle didn't even have to move. After 24 played minutes FC.Posavina got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Moser. Giovanni Zulle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Feiss went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bruno Schmid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC.Posavina's Anton Lessard got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Griffin Peter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Zulle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Kenneth Moser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Dirk Meyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steckenpferd United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Meyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Steckenpferd United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Griffin Peter made a kick off. Anton Lessard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Josua Pomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonas Feiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steckenpferd United's Josua Pomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Schmid in the 59th minute of play. Kenneth Moser, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 72 minutes into the match, FC.Posavina's goal looked a bit too open when Griffin Peter came free, but Giovanni Zulle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anton Lessard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josua Pomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Brandstetter's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, FC.Posavina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Feiss fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Steckenpferd United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nathan Sauerberg hit a great ball. Steckenpferd United's Josua Pomi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Lessard in the 96th minute of play. The FC.Posavina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steckenpferd United's performance. The match ended with a win for Steckenpferd United.
