Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emmanuel Ziegler made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emmanuel Ziegler in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaud Sulliger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Müller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Denis Müller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lausanne Sport Engelberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Müller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaud Sulliger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of SC Einschlag booed when Lausanne Sport Engelberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Müller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lausanne Sport Engelberg's zone, Reno Hügli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebius Mazza came out of the goal and Reno Hügli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Reno Hügli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebius Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Einschlag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Restaino in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Einschlag's corner John Restaino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eusebius Mazza quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reno Hügli in the 36th minute of play forced Lausanne Sport Engelberg's goalkeeper Eusebius Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Gutknecht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lausanne Sport Engelberg's Eusebius Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reno Hügli in the 41st minute of play. If Andreas Gutknecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Lanzendorfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reno Hügli to make the kick off. Jacky Schwartz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Andreas Gutknecht hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, SC Einschlag's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Ziegler came free, but Renaud Sulliger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Müller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dave Bircher fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lausanne Sport Engelberg's protests and gave Dave Bircher a yellow card for diving instead. Dave Bircher kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Eusebius Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reno Hügli, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Reno Hügli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebius Mazza having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Lausanne Sport Engelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Gutknecht came free, but Eusebius Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renaud Sulliger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Ziegler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacky Schwartz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Emmanuel Ziegler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Sulliger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacky Valet made a great header on Lausanne Sport Engelberg's corner, it was just that SC Einschlag's Renaud Sulliger managed to reach the ball for a save. Emmanuel Ziegler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Renaud Sulliger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of SC Einschlag:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lausanne Sport Engelberg:s goal.
