Spectators: 7738 (Terracing: 5805, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dynamo Kanti's Jonas Scheuber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Dynamo Kanti booed when Nankatsu SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Bollhalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marlon Lautens came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Dynamo Kanti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlon Lautens couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Nankatsu SC's zone, Jonas Scheuber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lion Imboden came out of the goal and Jonas Scheuber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Dynamo Kanti's goal looked a bit too open when Lothaire Wanner came free, but Carl Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dynamo Kanti's Carl Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodor Möckli in the 13th minute of play. Steve Kuhn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Nankatsu SC's Lothaire Wanner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Vidman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marlon Lautens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Lion Imboden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Nankatsu SC defense, Jonas Scheuber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lion Imboden. The Nankatsu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lion Imboden should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lothaire Wanner in the 27th minute of play forced Dynamo Kanti's goalkeeper Carl Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Rene Parolini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Kanti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nankatsu SC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Rene Parolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Theodor Möckli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nankatsu SC's Thommy Decimo got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Scheuber in the 32nd minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Lion Imboden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Nankatsu SC defense, Marlon Lautens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lion Imboden. The Nankatsu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lion Imboden should have stopped the shot. Lothaire Wanner took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Vidman. Carl Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theodor Möckli to make the kick off. Steve Kuhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Lion Imboden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Jonas Scheuber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lion Imboden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lion Imboden having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Marlon Lautens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Kanti's supporters rose to their feet, but Marlon Lautens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lion Imboden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carl Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodor Möckli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve Kuhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Steve Kuhn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Kanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Kuhn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rene Parolini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rene Parolini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lion Imboden having to interfere. In the 84th minute Marlon Lautens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lion Imboden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodor Möckli in the 91st minute of play forced Dynamo Kanti's goalkeeper Carl Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nankatsu SC's Lothaire Wanner got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dynamo Kanti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
