Virgil Suppiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Zeller having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Keamon Steurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnny Zeller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Favre in the 21st minute of the match. Francis Burgermeister hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Johnny Zeller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Suppiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Claudio Schneebeli sped through FC Janisen 7's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Zeller. 37 minutes into the match, FC Janisen 7's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Suppiger came free, but Johnny Zeller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nathan Favre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Zeller having to make a save. After 41 played minutes SC Veltheim got a freekick which was hit by Lee Freuler.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgil Suppiger to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FC Janisen 7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pippin Berger to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd play minute Nathan Favre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Johnny Zeller. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Flint Müller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolphe Lang was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathan Favre got free with Johnny Zeller in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Keamon Steurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgil Suppiger came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SC Veltheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Suppiger couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgil Suppiger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johnny Zeller. That made the score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Harald Zahno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgil Suppiger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Johnny Zeller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Virgil Suppiger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Janisen 7's Johnny Zeller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Nathan Favre came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SC Veltheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Favre couldn't finish the play. Johnny Zeller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Suppiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Lee Freuler hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
