Youth Project Switzerland's Nikita Ebersbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alwin Lowe in the 17th minute of play. Alwin Lowe took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nikita Ebersbach. Nikita Ebersbach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nikita Ebersbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alwin Lowe in the 21st minute of play. Salomon Lengen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Chuck Keiser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikita Ebersbach was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 30th minute, Marius Lötscher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quint Moor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tizian Imboden having to interfere. If Marius Lötscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quint Moor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hennes Caisse might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tizian Imboden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hennes Caisse ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Osvaldo Hirschy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alwin Lowe to make the kick off. The Youth Project Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikita Ebersbach should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chuck Keiser got free with Nikita Ebersbach in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Youth Project Switzerland's Quint Moor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tizian Imboden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tizian Imboden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Lötscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Quint Moor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Marius Lötscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Lötscher struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Tizian Imboden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Youth Project Switzerland.
