Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maurus Delfs in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Klein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dennis Kohler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Hennenberg having to interfere. Handegg's Erwin Hennenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Handegg from getting a goal against them. Pierre Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Leonz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Maurus Delfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Klein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Klein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurus Delfs, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maurus Delfs was the one to do the kick off. Erwin Hennenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brendan Leonz got free with Pierre Klein in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pascal Decker made a great header on Handegg's corner, it was just that FC 8370's Pierre Klein managed to reach the ball for a save. When Maurus Delfs came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Handegg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurus Delfs couldn't finish the play. Handegg were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC 8370 to leave the ground with a draw.
