With a little luck, Expats United's Kurt Mathieu got control of the ball when Kuno Pfeiffer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lutz Schreiber took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Mathieu. Kurt Mathieu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 39th minute, Veleshta's Dylan Bollier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 43rd minute Lutz Schreiber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Mathieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Kurt Mathieu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Williams von Moos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The Veleshta fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Veleshta's Williams von Moos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Williams von Moos sped through Expats United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Mathieu. Kurt Mathieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuno Pfeiffer in the 66th minute of play. Kurt Mathieu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan Bollier in the 67th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Veleshta reached it. Expats United's Kurt Mathieu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Williams von Moos in the 79th minute of play. Kurt Mathieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Schreiber in the 80th minute of the match. Kurt Mathieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardy Hager, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Lutz Schreiber came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Veleshta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lutz Schreiber couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Lutz Schreiber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Mathieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Art Rösli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ansgar Graziani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaiah Baldini kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Veleshta's Williams von Moos in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
