Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nikodemus Wickihalter started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Gala Zürich's Morris Meisterhans got a free kick in the 11th minute. Carlo Ostermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikodemus Wickihalter, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Carlo Ostermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintus Frei in the 17th minute of play. Jost Bergmann kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Carlo Ostermann came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zürich's Nikodemus Wickihalter. But to his dismay, Nikodemus Wickihalter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tonio Kaufmann got free with Mauritz Bremgartner in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harley Schermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mauritz Bremgartner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonio Kaufmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauritz Bremgartner having to interfere. Nikodemus Wickihalter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Carlo Ostermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonio Kaufmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mauritz Bremgartner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Ostermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Racine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harley Schermann kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tonio Kaufmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlo Ostermann came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zürich's Quintus Frei. But to his dismay, Quintus Frei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 56 minutes into the game, Franziskus Jaun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mauritz Bremgartner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konrad Stempfel's late challenge caught a Gala Zürich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konrad Stempfel helped the player get up and apologised. Konrad Stempfel kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Gala Zürich's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bennett Palluzzi in the 63rd minute. Franziskus Jaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harley Schermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mauritz Bremgartner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Tonio Kaufmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 minutes, Norbert Hinnen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zürich and the Gala Zürich players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gala Zürich booed when FC Zürich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Hinnen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Morris Meisterhans came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Gala Zürich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morris Meisterhans couldn't finish the play. Tonio Kaufmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Gala Zürich's goal looked a bit too open when Nikodemus Wickihalter came free, but Carlo Ostermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Zürich's goalkeeper Mauritz Bremgartner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Franziskus Jaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Zürich getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Norbert Hinnen hit a great ball. With a little luck, Gala Zürich's Carlo Ostermann got control of the ball when Quintus Frei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikodemus Wickihalter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlo Ostermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Konrad Stempfel came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Zürich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konrad Stempfel couldn't finish the play. Carlo Ostermann made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Konrad Stempfel sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Zürich eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
