Enzo Lagrange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikodemus Wickihalter in the 20th minute of play. With a little luck, Armata Bianconera's Enzo Lagrange got control of the ball when Konrad Stempfel tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Zürich's Konrad Stempfel got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Lagrange made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Konrad Stempfel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikodemus Wickihalter in the 39th minute of play forced Armata Bianconera's goalkeeper Enzo Lagrange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauritz Bremgartner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Titus Huwiler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Nikodemus Wickihalter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enzo Lagrange was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Armata Bianconera were furious when Harold Barth was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for FC Zürich. Heiner Theissen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Enzo Lagrange. 2-0. In the 94th minute Konrad Stempfel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Lagrange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Zürich's Mauritz Bremgartner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zürich from getting a goal against them.
